Best to avoid using the green scrubbie things unless you use
Sunshine
one very lightly. They're not as abrasive as steel wool but can defintely

remove the seasoning from cast iron if you scrub hard.

Anytime you use any abrasive cleaner on cast iron it will get

rusty. If you really want it to be clean you usually have to use abrasives

but then dry it completely, give it a light spray with some cooking oil

like Baker is Secret. Then wipe the oil off with a paper towel & store it

with the remaining oil on it. Just be sure to give it a good rinse & dry

before using it the next time because the residual oil will hold
dust. There is a way to ''season''these pans in ur oven which is really
baking a coating of oil onto the pans which hardens the oil & makes it
like a non-stick but it will always feel tacky.`
Your pan might have a non-stick surface already on it in which case you
shouldn't need any abrasives to get it clean. I use a plastic scrub brush
on my non-stick cast iron griddle & it works very well.
